More and more information is becoming available demonstrating that babies ‘know’. Babies are conscious from early in their lives. They can feel and have emotions that they want to express.
Our pregnancy, our birth experience, how we were met and loved shapes brain development,
self confidence, and emotional
relationships, as well as how we perceive the world.
It will affect us in early development up to and including adulthood.
The effect of traumatic events occurring from conception through pregnancy, birth and childhood can limit us in achieving our potential and in developing secure adult relationships.
David will talk about how it is now possible to work with symptoms that may have resulted from traumatic imprinting, such as difficulties for baby to latch on and feed, sleeping issues and excessive crying, and support the move towards healing and secure attachment.
There will also be space for discussion around particular issues brought in by the participants.
Who should attend?
These talks will be open to all who have an interest in being with babies and children and relationships.
The Thing About Being In Relationships -
From Baby to Adult
We, as human beings, have an innate knowing in ourselves to be relationship seeking. It is not in our nature to isolate. So why is it that being in relationships can be so challenging? Why do we react in ways we never intended? What stops us being who we really are?
The evening’s talk will briefly explore some of the possible reasons and how we can reconnect within ourselves the ability to come deeper into relationship.
A variety of talks are being offered:
The thing about being in relationships

Dynamic Stillness -
During the talk we will look at why it can be so difficult to relax and how it is possible to settle in oneself without really trying.
To settle into more of what I call ‘Dynamic Stillness’ rather than collapse.
Relaxing is not about us trying to relax; rather it is involuntary.
As soon as we
consciously try to relax we are once again doing.
The talk is not about meditation although being in this ‘Dynamic Stillness’ can support it.
Who should attend?
This talk is open to any adult.
